SVGMC can ALWAYS use volunteers, and not just at concerts! From time to time, we appreciate outside help in many areas like: preparing mailings, filing music, assisting with fundraisers, and yes... ushering at concerts!

Giving Your Resources
We are happy to receive your tax-deductible donation, but there are other ways to give as well. Many companies match employee donations to non-profit organizations. SVGMC is approved by the United Way of Silicon Valley to receive contributions through employee payroll withholding. Giving Your Skills
Do you like planning events? Have a knack for writing grants? Our newly-formed Development Committee is helping the chorus win grants, find sustaining donors, organize fundraising events, and secure corporate sponsors. Come join--and even lead--a team of like-minded people whose achievements will help secure SVGMC's continuing success. The Silicon Valley Gay Men's Chorus has a long history with Christ The Good Shephard Lutheran church in San Jose in its 27 year history.

Not only has the chorus performed at this welcoming church countless times, it also holds several chorus retreats and rehearsals in the space. In 2007, the chorus produced much of its CD recording in the sanctuary and some of our members attend services here regularly.
